Editorial policy

Trait Clarity Editorial Team writes and reviews the educational articles published on this site. Our articles are designed to help readers understand personality research, not to diagnose a condition or replace professional advice.

How we develop content

We start with the question a reader is trying to answer, explain the relevant research in plain language, and distinguish associations from certainty. Substantive claims are supported by peer-reviewed research, professional organisations, or public-health institutions. Reputable explanatory sources may be used for additional context, but not as the sole support for health or psychological claims.

Review and updates

Articles are reviewed for accuracy, clarity, source quality, practical usefulness, and non-diagnostic language before publication. We update articles when important source material or guidance changes and display publication and update dates on each article.
